Dean started with KKCR shortly after the station went on the air - with a music/theater program
entitled "Let's Go Surfing" with fellow producer Chris Kauwe - after nearly
52 episodes they decided to burn their surfboards. Thus from the ashes of foam and polystyrene arose "Dingo Diner".
Besides this weekly hour of eclectic funk, Dean produces KKCR's Talk Story from the Garden Island for national distribution, as well as Keiki Storyhour,
Palmtree Playhouse, Na Leo Hawaiian Issues, and Kaua'i Kai and Wai. Away from the station he's a single dad who enjoys Kayaking, skin diving,
hiking, and basking in the beauty of our Garden Isle.
