What is Underwriting?
Underwriting messages are not commercials. Underwriting is the name the FCC has given to announcements that recognize contributions to public radio from businesses and organizations.

Underwriting offers a concise message of no more than 30 words. Announcements are succinct and factual.
KKCR airs no more than 3 underwriting messages per hour, which only takes about 1 minute of airtime. Your message is more likely to be heard because our listeners don't tune us out.
