We are sad to let you know that Peter Cameron, The Commodore<\/a>, host of the Loco Moco program, passed away with his good friend Satya by his side at 6:30pm, September 15, 2020. His good friend Michelle was a tremendous support to him in his last weeks. Peter’s radio career began in Connecticut in 1970 on WWEB. He was an announcer, caretaker and player for the Kaua\u2018i Polo Club for many years.  He started at KKCR sitting in with Dennis MacCoumber on the Den on the I-10 program and became an official KKCR programmer in 2007.  His Loco Moco program featured local artists, both their recordings and live performances in the studio.  Rest in peace Commodore, you will be missed.<\/p>\r\n

We are sad to let you know that Peter Cameron, The Commodore<\/a>, host of the Loco Moco program, passed away with his good friend Satya by his side at 6:30pm, September 15, 2020. His good friend Michelle was a tremendous support to him in his last weeks. Peter’s radio career began in Connecticut in 1970 on WWEB. He was an announcer, caretaker and player for the Kaua\u2018i Polo Club for many years.  He started at KKCR sitting in with Dennis MacCoumber on the Den on the I-10 program and became an official KKCR programmer in 2007.  His Loco Moco program featured local artists, both their recordings and live performances in the studio.  Rest in peace Commodore, you will be missed.<\/p>\r\n
