KEKAHU FOUNDATION \/ KKCR<\/h2>\n

KKCR is Kaua\u02bbi’s independent, non-commercial, listener-supported community radio station.
\nKKCR seeks to:<\/p>\n

  • Stimulate, educate and entertain our audience<\/li>\n
  • Preserve, perpetuate and celebrate Hawaiian culture<\/li>\n
  • Reflect the diversity of the local and world community<\/li>\n
  • Disseminate factual emergency response and disaster preparedness information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    KKCR provides a forum for overlooked, suppressed, or under-represented voices and music. The Kekahu Foundation facilitates this broadcasting opportunity.<\/p>\n

        • In this we consistently respect the spectrum of diversity including but not limited to: race, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, religious belief, culture, physicality, gender identity, national origin, marital status, citizenship, education and socio-economic status, as well as other classifications protected by applicable state or local laws. <\/span><\/li>\n
        • It is important and valuable that all people feel safe to express and be heard. <\/span><\/li>\n
        • We actively promote conversations that will provide for awareness and understanding between cultures and identities. <\/span><\/li>\n
