Since its evolution from a blog into record label, Aloha Got Soul has committed itself to exploring every corner of Hawai‘i for the best music, regardless of genre or generation. The blog launched in August 2010 with a focus on 1970’s and 80’s jazz, funk, soul and R&B music from Hawai‘i. Today, they are a record label that champions all genres and generations of sounds from Hawai‘i.
They believe that Hawaii's artists should freely explore and define their musical identities. They hope to connect with the past and build toward the future.
