Dean started with KKCR shortly after the station went on the air – with a music/theater program entitled “Let’s Go Surfing” with fellow producer Chris Kauwe – after nearly 52 episodes they decided to burn their surfboards.

Thus from the ashes of foam and polystyrene arose “D’s Diner” 2 hours of eclectic funk and Julian’s picks.

Away from the station he’s a single dad who enjoys Kayaking, skin diving, hiking, and basking in the beauty of our Garden Isle.
