Field Notes from Kauaʻi is a monthly radio show on KKCR that highlights the people working to care for the island’s land and natural resources. Each episode features conversations with farmers, field technicians, natural resource managers, researchers, land stewards, and other community members who spend their days out in the field. The show explores how science supports real management and restoration work across the island – from managing invasive species and restoring ecosystems to growing food and stewarding land. It’s a chance to hear directly from the people doing the work and learn about the challenges, discoveries, and successes that come with caring for place.
