I am so happy to be part of the KKCR `ohana that is sharing Hawaiian music with our listeners. It is such beautiful music!! I moved to Kaua`i from Southern California in 1981. I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. My way of preserving this beautiful island life, and supporting the culture and language is to focus on the heartbeat of Hawai`i. it’s wonderful blessing of music.

I love music, to dance hula, swim, snorkle and play with my mo`opunas on our precious island.

I am a Hawaiian music retailer, with 2 locations here on Kaua`i. I first started Hula lessons in 1975 and was privileged to have a fabulous Kumu Hula who taught us Hawaiian language during our Sunday classes, giving me the foundation for Hawaiian music and Hawaiian culture I was looking for. I am also a licensed Esthetician working part time at the Princeivlle Spa.

I love our island and it’s amazing, breathtaking beauty. We are so blessed to have the privilege and honor of being here.

I pray that all the generations to follow us will have the same privilege and beauty to gaze upon.
